    Reliable and safe enteric coating

    Kollicoat® 100 P is a reliable, high-performance film coatings based on methacrylic aid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1), designed specifically for enteric tablet coating. Many APIs degrade in the acidic environment of the stomach or irritate its lining. But the smart polymers in Kollicoat® MAE shield active ingredients from aggressive gastric juice and only dissolve once in the intestine – making sure the API is released in precisely the right place. Kollicoat® MAE 100 P is a partially neutralized powder for rapid re-dispersion. Both grades offer robust protection, while facilitating more simple and cost-effective production processes.
